| Week 3 rule applies, you may play a 3rd scoring match per opponent. | |

| Thank you all for participating and doing your best to get those matches played. I know that you all would like to be able to get to that 20 limit, and I think I have a better plan for future rounds. What I have in mind is this:
In weeks 1-3 you play as many matches per opponent as you like with on ly the first 2 counting and the rest are tie breakers.
If by week 4 it is not possible to score 20 matches then I raise the limit per opponent to 3. All recorded and new 3rd match tie breakers are promoted to scoring matches.
If by week 5 it is still not possible to score 20 matches then I raise the limit per opponent to 4. All recorded and new 4th match tie breakers are promoted to scoring matches.
I'll begin this from round 3.

| The results and prizes are up. I awarded the Snuff Out to InsanePete who still managed to get 18 matches played despite the extreme difficulty of finding opponents this round. | |

| Congrats to Rotdog for this good victory! On the other hand, i have a question without a bad intention. We are 119 members at this moment. What are the interest of these members to belong to the clan? I repeat, without bad intention, when i join to the client i see in clan tab some members that are many times online...and i dont play any match with them. I dont test pauper with many of them too. So if league is the main event of the clan, and dont play...if they dont test pauper... I dont say that these members should kick out of the clan, but what are they doing here? Do you think that this is a problem of promotion of the league by all of us? Or it is laziness by them? ---- Although it could seen as an angry post, this is not my intention...i would like that my english would be better to use a more kind vocabulary. | |

1. Did I really win? I cant believe it. Oh! Thx everybody seems i have lots of problems with my decks and made few very bad mistakes while playing. When i started the league i had really a small bunch of cards and during it i was able to create even 3 decks for a league i tested. It was a great fun playing with ya! Sorry if i was not talkative enough with some of u, i am still a bit angry bout loosing games and typing in english is not my best skill. 2. I tried to contact to some clan-members who were online and promote a league games but smth had stop them from participating( Maybe they dont have as much time as us - active-players. Maybe they are just passsive to participate games in this format, dunno. Its a personal choice, it can seems bad for us but who knows what is the reason for it. 3. victorBike ur english is totally better than my, so i think theres nothing to worry about) I hope there will be more players in the next round. Ill try to call everybody i can) Thx again for everybody, ur help and games i really appreciate this.

| Both of your English skills are superior to most Americans, believe it or not.
I feel I didn't get in as many rounds as I would have hoped just because I'm always playing decks in regular Standard, or sitting around thinking about Magic instead of playing it. Time zone differences may have been an issue as well, even if being a night owl should have made it easier for me to get games with people on the other side of the Meridian. So for me, I can admit to a bit of laziness.
I do feel particularly bad for not dropping out of a regular PDC event to play a final couple matches with victorBike, and then after scheduling a meet up time with him the next day I ended up sleeping through it. Sorry, dude :-(
But the matches I did get to play were very fun and a great learning experience for someone who's never built a singleton deck before. I was actually able to get in more test games than expected with RotDog, so maybe I can tell myself I helped him reach the top :-)
One thing I think hurt this format was that the Standard card pool was incomplete. Or rather, incompleat, because New Phyrexia had yet to be released. This was compounded in the final couple of days of the round because of the unprecedented leak of the entire set. It distracted me even further. I feel that if Standard Singleton is to be done again, it should be timed so that the full Standard card pool of two full blocks and a core set could be utilized.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it. I feel I should explain about the scheduling here. I pretty much am obliged to offer a standard format round each league year, and the standard round is scheduled to get the full 2 blocks. This means that standard singleton lost out by one set. In an ideal world I would swap the rounds about, but I think it would dissapoint more people that way. What I've found is that everyone who has played standard singleton seems to really love it, so maybe next year I'll offer it with a full 2 blocks. I'm just sad we had so few takers this time because it really was a lot of fun.
