I just want to say for the record that I hate them with a passion. I know this has nothing to do with pauper, but just needed to vent. I just played against them today for the first time. What twinky cards! I didn't even know what to do against them except maybe Oblivion Ring. Okay, rant over. If you want to comment about cards you hate and why, please do.

Hi Toni.
Out of interest i replayed your game (which you correctly advertised as pauper) and seeing the number of rares your opponent played ( the cost of which i wouldn't like to attempt to calculate Smile you have every right to feel annoyed you could have pointed out to your opponent that you asked for a game of pauper and that in pauper only commons are allowed (if they have any curtesy they should concede the game , but i think a lot of players think of pauper as an easy target for their mega expensive decks (its also amusing to see them loose to the pauper deck which happens a lot more than you might think Very Happy ). Anyway don't let these planeswalkers upset you. (you won't find any played in any of the proper pauper games or any pdc tourneys). Yes they are powerful and a pain to play against but at least you don't have to pay over 6 dollars for a playset (4 of) of your cards like your opponent does. Very Happy
Regards
Harry

I didn't know someone could watch someone elses' games. That is really cool.

Oh, are there any defenses against landwalk? I got my ass handed to me the other day by a merdeck. Also, are there any white cards that will dest arts? I found some common protection cards, but the cards against black and red are uncommon.

Hi Toni,
Yeah you can watch games that have been played earlier ( although there is a time linit on doing so,they probably take up space on the server! just look at the list of all games and select a game you want to replay, at the top of the screen where you normally see " Join " or Watch ( Join when a game is waiting for players or watch to watch a game that is currently in play) you will see the option to replay click on that and you can watch the game replay, using the controls on screen you can watch it run or step through the game step by step. Smile .
With regard to land walking there aren't any cards that give u protection against creatures that have it so you'll have to go after the creature itself, destroy it ( in white you have sunlance to deal 3pts of damage other colours have more options for this red/black spring to mind) you already use oblivion ring you also have temporal isolation (and in Extended faiths fetters) there may be other but those are the ones that quickly spring to mind.
As for artifact destruction in white you haven't any in green you would have naturalise and in red a few options ancient grudge, smash ( destroy artifact and draw a card) and from shadowmoor smash to smithereens.

Anyway i hope this reply helps you with card selection ( artifacts aren't a major problem in std (as there aren't that many played ) but can be in fut ext ( affinity is still big there) but remember whatever cards you choose to deal with artifacts ( unless like oblivion ring it can be used against other targets) is a dead card if the said threat doesn't arise. Anyway no matter what cards are played enjoy your magic Very Happy
Regards
Harry
