Season Information & Rules


Registration opens at 2:00PM est I would like the event to start at 2.30pm EST


Registration
Simply type /join CSC STD and rely yes or no if you are playing
We play in the anything goes room, its not as crowded usually.

Pairings and standings will be posted in this thread as we go along.


Deck Construction

Standard format (10th Edition; Lorwyn, Morningtide, Shadowmoor and Eventide; Shards of Alara and Conflux; versions of Standard cards from earlier sets are allowed as proxies).



Tournament Structure

Four rounds of Swiss play followed by Top 8 Single Elimination.

Rounds consist of 60-minute timed "best 2-out-of-3 games" matches (choose 30 minutes event timer).

Matches are played in the Casual Play > Anything Goes room.

All matches should be watchable and labeled "CSC STD 1.3 Round XX"



After each match, both players are required to post the match results in the MPDCCOM channel according to this example (pick an appropriate line):
W 2-0
W 2-1
L 0-2
L 1-2

Season Points - Will work just like in the league.

1st --- 8 points
2nd --- 7 points
3rd --- 6 points
4th --- 5 points
5th --- 4 points
6th --- 3 points
7th --- 2 points
8th --- 1 point

Season Championship

Will be the top 8 players who have the most points.
